Davidson’s Linn is quite possibly one of my favourite places in the Cheviots. Right in the heart of the hills, the shortest hike to reach the falls is around 4 miles, although there are longer walks that pass through nicer scenery and better views.
Catch it on a warm summer’s day, and it’s not much more than a trickle; head up there after rainfall though and it’s a different story. This photo was taking during a wild camp in the area, after a few days of persistent rain.
