Loch Shiel is one of Scotland’s longest lochs, stretching 17.5 miles from Glenfinnan at the north east point to Acharacle to the south west. Like the nearby Glenfinnan Viaduct, it’s featured in Harry Potter films.

This photo was taken at the north east point, just as a storm was rolling in. That storm produced some of the heaviest rainfall I’ve ever seen!
